So I was meaning to take and post photos of my recent Goodwill haul but with the long weekend I decided to take a break from everything and catch up on some reading. That led to taking a trip to Barnes and Noble and buying some more books for my collection.
I also wanted to get back into writing so I’ve been slowly going through my old notebooks starting around 4th grade. Going through my old writing was a bit painful and sometimes even embarrassing but thankfully I can say that my style has matured since then.
Earlier I got a call from an old friend from high school and we caught up on our lives. It’s good to know I have those select few to call best friends and it’s always fun reminiscing about back home.
Anyways, it’s double xp weekend and Taylor is pretty serious about it so I’ll be bumming around waiting for him to get off the game. I hope everyone is having a great weeked!

Lino ‘Brwn’ Asana is a born and raised Cameroonian filmmaker now based in San Francisco. I was excited to receive an exclusive peek into Lino’s world and his current project. For several weeks, I enjoyed our Skype calls back and forth, covering his life and passions. His latest work is a short film titled SOMEBODY IN NOBODY, starring the gorgeous Jodie Smith. I was granted a first look at the trailer and was immediately drawn in by the magical set and surrounding mystery that briefly existed during those seconds of watching. As a result, I just had to ask Lino a couple of questions touching on his life and work in order to understand a bit more of the man behind the beautiful visuals.
